    I agree. We got him in to provide extra support and strength around the coach. He did exactly that today.

    Great reminder that last year, Carlton, Sydney and GWS were all about what we are now after Round 8. Two of those three made the prelim.

    Liam Jones when asked who was harder to defend out of Naughton, Marra and Darcy.

    "Over pre-season Sam Darcy gave me the most trouble just with his length. I found that I could move him off the ball. But because he is so long, he can reach it even though his hips are out of position. He can just stand and deliver and beat you in the contest which is hard to defend."

    For mine the key marker is the bye weekend. If nothing happens during that week I think English is gone.

    Not sure my theory works for Smith though considering he is out of the country!
