You can play full throttle for 120 minutes IF you have a full bench. We played that way until half time. Result: 55 points up.

After half time. 2 men down, rotations down, less time for rest, less tackling pressure, less run and carry. Result: we lose

You can't plan a game around losing players but Bevo does need to adapt for when it happens, whether it's throw numbers back, sacrifice a mid to clamp down on one of their dominant mids etc.

But, we also need to get fitter so we can keep up the intensity for longer, in spite of an injury or 2. And with 20 players with under 100 games, are you surprised we still have physical development to come?
