Re: Western Bulldogs fast-track rebuild with rookie wonders

The coach is pretty strong about the players being able to kick with both feet. It won't be from the want of trying to kick with his right foot. He would have had plenty of encouragement.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Pretty sure I saw Macrae kick a decent right footer on Saturday.

I would have JJ vying for best pick in that list.

I questioned the strategy after the 2014 draft in going so small for 5 picks (although we did bring in Z Cordy as a FS pick).

Given we went so tall in 2015 Dal obviously drafts with a multi-year focus and already McLean, Webb & Daniel look good with Dale showing glimpses.

    I don't rate Hamilton.
4/5 smalls would be a good return if they all make it. Daniel and McLean are basically there already, Webb, probable, Dale possible.

If Zaine kicks on (likely, depending on injuries) it makes it a good year for us, especially since Rourke Smith looks promising and we got a few games out of Brett Goodes.

Is Lynch another rookie in the making? Roarke looks a likely type and seems to be rated by Bevo.

That's true. We can't keep them all. We trade one and he wins the Brownlow, right?

That's what used to happen anyway.
