I wish we played a few more kids, namely Tom Hill.

Would be good but we're limited to 26 players and we're learning a new game plan so it's to be expected that we'd be leaving some of the kids behind.

Just glad we don't have the break between the two matches.

Perhaps the coach wants to see how his more senior side handles the new game plan against an actual opposition.

Getting the game plan working is probably a priority over getting time on for the kids.

Having said that Smith, Talia and Dickson are there.

I'm so glad we have Eastern Ward rather than Greater Western Ward.

Skinner is new really he played what a quarter in Canberra last year.

Callan Ward and Tom Scully. 2 players that were not loyal and went for the money. In a sense you can't blame them for that but at the same time loyalty is going out of the game bar some players who stay at the one club. A former soccer player in England Matt Le Tisser who was a very good player stayed loyal to his club Southampton despite the bigger clubs wanting him.

Agree Tom Hill impressed me at the intra club i thought he stood out in the backline.

Coach might be taking a few things in to account and like others have said the game plan could be one, others might be soreness of players post the intra-club, and general effort and performance put in to pre-season and developing the areas the coaching staff have put on the players as required for development over the summer.

It's too hard to tell without being close to the inside of course.

Thats a reason maybe why Macca has not selected certain players to feature in the opening NAB Cup matches.

I think it's a sign of the times, we just don't have a strong running list.

Hahaha...that's funny. To me, that's a good indication of how much they value the Who Cares Cup.
