Shocking news, but it wasn't surprising to hear that something was amiss once his run in the Willy 2nds team a couple of weeks ago was abruptly cut short when he felt sore.

It's almost time to put a red pen through Dale's 2012 season and make sure he is absolutely cherry ripe for 2013.

Very sad news. Doesn't sound good. Hopefully he can get back to his best, but it will hard, very hard.

Thats not good to hear. I hope he recovers soon and gets back to playing his best footy again.

Morris is an extremely determined guy I want nobody to stand in his way. He'll be back in 2012.

Probably won't see him back to his very best ever again:(, hopefully he can still return and play a part.

How was this crack not diagnosed before or did this happen in the 18 minutes he played in the reserves.

I just hope he can recover from this shocking injury.

Terrible news. He deserves better than that, as do we.

He's had a pretty rough trott with injuries, notwithstanding the fact he's been able to battle through them and stand up for the side. I can't help but think he'd be pretty peeved at his current predicament, when the team clearly needs him.

That is very disappointing.

Morris is an extremely determined guy I want nobody to stand in his way. He'll be back in 2012.I've got no doubt he'll be back this season, but I'm posing the question that it might better serve both Morris and the club if he is given the softly softly approach to his return. I want to see him come back 100% and hopefully for another 4-5 seasons. We more than likely won't be contending this season in any event, so it represents a chance to get additional games into other young defenders and also give Morris the chance to fully recover from his injuries and put in an uninterrupted pre-season. He won't be playing any football before July, so at best he'll play seniors in the final 6 weeks of the season - not sure of the value to be honest (unless we are contending).
