Captain Boyd plays his 200th game this week against the Hawks. What a great achievement for a player that started as a Rookie. There is no harder working AFL player than Boyd both on the track and on game day.

Having another prolific season being the AFL's number one for disposals with an average over 30 as he has done the last three seasons.

Goes in hard and tries his guts out for the club and bleeds RED, WHITE and BLUE - well done Boyd and hope you have a great 200th game.

Great effort. Really happy that he's been able to reach this milestone, it shows what hard work and determination can do.

I sometimes forget the work this guy puts in each week, and I tend to judge him very harshly and in some cases unfairly.

Congatulations Boydy.

He's a champion of the club and if his disposal was at 90% he would have 3 Brownlows and 4 time all Australian.

You cannot question his guts and determination, well done.

Great milestone and has come a long way from the rookie list to become captain of this club.

Also an All Australian in 2011.

Has to be the most unheralded captain in the club's history. Regularly criticised on the basis of dodgy stats with respect to disposal efficiency but still puts his head over the ball and wins it more than any other player in the game.

If ever a player deserves kudos it's Boyd especially for the professionalism with which he prepares himself year in year out and for every game he plays

Well done,

Can't see them getting up for a win for the captain but let's hope they at least give a yelp.

I always used to joke after seeing that goal that if it was Rugby, he was a mile onside, didn't knock it on and picked it up cleanly, but Farren would have been called for obstruction.

Great achievement to come off the rookie list and end up captaining the club.

I remember going to Boydy's first game. It was against Freo at Docklands in the Rhode era and we got flogged, and I was sitting about 10 rows in front of Boydy's mates, who of course would yell 'Kick it to Boydy!' whenever we were looking for an option to pass to. He wasn't on the ground most of the time that they did.

Was also sitting right next to the Freo cheer squad.
