Ditto for me, Smith tried hard and will get better. Dickson also put in. I thought Big Will won a lot of the tap work but Hawthorn were feeding of him.

Smith and Dickson are going to be good players for us. I like the way they are going about it.

4. Cross...four quarters of effort and surprisingly constructive disposal
3. Higgins....best game for a long time. Really benefited from Williams being so lively in the first half.
2. Boyd...typical honest effort
1. Lake....thank god he was back there

Honorable mentions to Murphy who did a lot of mopping up of team mates mistakes....and Picken. You have to admire his effort. Even in the last quarter he was still giving it everything.

Yet again another anchor for the supporters who couldn't bother turning up for the captain's 200th. What was it this time.....3.15 still not early enough? Will be the same people who wonder how the club will survive.

I'm not using it as an excuse, but it's a dumb time. Why not 2pm?

So I should get the kids in the car and drag them to the footy to see us get destroyed again . Get them home about eight at night and send them off to school for their first day after holidays with their eyes hanging out of their head to support the captain??? Not likely.

The whole support the team idea lost a fair bit of lustre after the Bears game when we rolled over again.

Sorry for digressing moderators.
We shouldn't concern ourselves with crowds , as the Scheduling clearly doesn't!
It's all about TV
