Just wanted to see everyone's opinions of how this final series will go. Regardless of tonights game reply over the weekend.

Grand Final: Hawthorn/Adelaide
Premiership: Hawthorn
Smokey: Geelong

This week I would tip;

Hawks by 30 (Even if a possible J.Lewis is out, fair loss though.)
Adelaide by 8
Geelong by 45
West Coast by 35

Windy conditions tonight similar to our final against the eagles back in 99 I think it was. Might help the pies as the dawks rely on a possession game. Haven't got a lot of love for any of these clubs, but I rank the dawks just below the Taliban and Robert Mugabe, so I'm hoping for a pies win.

Should be a fascinating match tonight against the Hawks and Pies. Hawks are definitely favourites but the Pies are always a chance. Despite the Pies bad form it is kind of like a new season/ball game now and the Pies will be ready to go.

To beat collingwood in final you need to beat the crowd and the umps.
13 to 4 ATM.
No consistency.

I don't think your GF prediction can happen if hawks win tonight.

Damn it. OK...Hawthorn/Adelaide? Can that work?

As you can probably tell, I lose most of my interest in the season if the Dogs aren't involved. So long as Carringbush don't win it, I don't care. ;)

Might just get away from umpires, and their clear collingwood bias.
Jolly monstering Hawthorn, and wondering if they'll look at Will

No idea, lol. I was hoping for a cats & hawks GF and was annoyed when I found out it most likely wasn't going to happen.

Hawthorn super impressive.
Sam Mitchell BOG.Collingwood were over physical for mine, looked cooked because of it.
Travis Cloke was very good, Pies turned it over horrendously.
Chris Dawes looks a shadow of the player he was 2 years ago

No Pies midfielders were on tonight.
Maxwell in trouble? Yes imo, high+intentional+blood rule. Rubbish from a captain.
Collingwood out in straight sets? No. I think they might bounce back against WCE next week.
Geelong only team that can worry Hawks.

Not now.
Hawks would be pretty happy at the moment.

Dogs aren't playing so I really don't care to be honest :(

I haven't watched Freo play in a very long time. They looked a different team to what I remember. Historically if they won a final they would carry on like they'd won the flag, this time they seemed very measured and business like. I would like to see them play against Hawthorn.

I'd be rapt to see Freo win a flag, as it would be a hot knife through the heart of every Eagles fan in the country.

Well, I wouldn't go that far (we must win one first!) but I find them slightly more tolerable than the Weagles.

I'm tipping a Hawthorn v Sydney grand final with Hawthorn winning by 4 goals.

I think it will be close and I think the Swans may get up.

Hoping for the Swans, this would shut my Father in-law and brother in-law's up.
Thank God the Pie's got done and it put the Mother in- law out of the equation.
But realistically I am thinking the Hawks by 20+.

On a side note what would the odds have been at the start of the season the top 5 sides being birds ?
Four prelim finalists meaning the G/f's being birds ?
Bird Dog's anyone ?:)

I've taken the Swans by 11 in the Finals Tipping Comp at work. Week by Week knockout comp, down to the last 6.

$10 on LRT at the TAB to be BOG and get the NSM.
