WOOF Player Awards - Round 15, 2013 vs GWS

Welcome to the WOOF Player Awards for season 2013, Round 15 GWS v Western Bulldogs.

There are two awards that you can vote on once the game is completed.

Voting closes each Tuesday at 8.00pm.

The first award is for the Joe Marmo Medal for the best players on the ground.

There are 4 votes allocated and it's a 4 for the best and of course 3, 2 and 1.

The second award is for the Ron James Medal for the best 2 pups on the ground.

2 Votes allocated - 2 being for the best pup and 1 for the runner-up
Remember the cut off age for a pup is 22 as at the 1st of January, 2013.

His consistent contested marking and 7 goals really set us up for a great win.
Bulldogs fans, your patience is now being richly rewarded on a consistent basis.

3. Liam Jones. A Solid game at Centre Half BACK. Marked everything that came his way and provided constant rebound. Read the game like a book and made Jeremy Cameron look like a pimply kid.

2. Shaun Higgins. Continues his AA form after brushing off years of injury and indifferent form.
38 possessions and 4 goals from the midfield despite being heavily tagged is a huge return.
Will be an important cog in the bulldog machine as they head into the finals

1. Clay Smith. Went head to head against Ward and played as if he had a point to prove. Topped off an incredible 11 tackles with 16 disposals and 2 telling goals. Kept Ward to 14 largely unimportant possessions, took him to the cleaners in other words.
