Forecast of things to come in the AFL?

Reported today in the SMH - Ex Shark Sues club over supplements.
Former Cronulla player Isaac Gordon is pursuing legal action against the club, revealing he was told by the Sharks doctor he might have died as a result of the side-effects of the substance he was given at the club.
Gordon, who was at the Sharks in 2011 when sports scientist Stephen Dank ran a supplements program, is seeking compensation after suffering a mysterious blood-thinning disorder that left him with severe bruising from the ankle to the groin of one leg that was tested for cancer, and wants those responsible to be held accountable.

Giddy-up!

The supplements in question were taken by Gordon as lozenges, drinks and creams, and he was also given a vial with the label ''for equine use only'' and ''not for human consumption'' to be taken orally each morning and night.
Concerned by what he was given to take by a former employee of the club, Gordon brought the vial to Givney, and that was believed to be the catalyst for Dank's departure from the Sharks after his 11 weeks.

This may make some take this issue a little bit less blasé.
Gorden is a very lucky man, would not be to many games of rugby where a player does not cop a decent tap to the head.
Just another reason the penalties should be severe and not light.

Can't believe the first positive test since JCharles has barely been touched.

It's St Kilda. The media may be waiting to hear the woman's side of the story…

If Ahmad Saad gets a two year ban so should every guilty player at Essendon.

While I don't disagree, the issue is that Saad has actually returned a positive test.

The Essendon players have not.

There is plenty of evidence indicating guilt, but no positive test.

Where does Watson's admission sit?

Essendon are claiming it was legal but everything we see in the media indicates it was not.

It has gone on for so long, but Saad looks done and dusted. He probably had much less intent to beat the system.

Watson is lucky to still be playing.

There's a heap of funny cartoons and memes going around on this topic. Just for fun.

This link below is the funniest, ( but it's not exactly rated G, hence the link :) It's just the immature nature of the composition.

and as a consequence he got through for years and years despite plenty speaking out.

It was only when the authorities were absolutely determined to bring him down that they amassed the overwhelming evidence.
