Well you'd be more frustrated if you're a Norf fan.
They're a final 8 side compared to the bottom 3 currently there.
Geelong I'm not sure they can win it to be honest.

Have quite a bit of respect for the Cats, to be so good for many years and not fall off, obviously recruiting extremely well......on the other hand Saints, Bombers, Blues, tigers, North, can't stand them.

From last night's game, did anyone actually play on Boomer? Watching bits of the game flicking from the cricket, he seemed to be running a muck, especially early.

I did the same switching between the cricket and football and also noticed he seemed to have no direct opponent.

Strange to give him that much freedom.

Same. I have ever since he tore Carlton a new on a few years back on a Friday night. I was lucky enough to be there live. It was the game were Warnock missed the goal after the siren.

Pretty sure Taylor Hunt did, but Boomer was simply to good.

I always like to see Norf lose if only for the facial expressions of their coach. Plus can't stand their supporters.

Dang, I was telling everyone at work this all week but I am leading two comps and didn't have the balls to back myself in (knowing that everyone would have went the Cats). The same happened with the West Coast game last week.

But with a North v Cats game how can you lose? :D

I don't really hate Geelong like I do other clubs. I should like North as they have been strugglers like us, but it must be their supporters and administration - just hate them all.

I think the hatred stems from the 1970's when they were gifted premierships after the AFL changed various rules and they became a powerful onfield club. I remember going to a game at Arden street in the 70's and we got done, as we were walking out some North supporters were having a go at us and I turned around and here is my mate (who had too many to drink), was laying into the North bloke doing all the stirring:D

I don't like their supporters either.
I had a vivid encounter at a pub in Canberra after we beat them in 04.
Was on a high after a great win, and said to " I don't know how you can follow the Dogs".!
Just ignored him and enjoyed a great night.:D
A mate of mine always says you need more than 5 supporters to have a chorus

Fremantle's pressure was just incredible and Ross Lyon's great record at Etihad is intact.
Don't want to look at that 09 draft when we picked Howard ahead of Fyfe.

If we put all of those names in a hat I don't think we could do worse than what we did at 15.

I really haven't seen enough of Howard. I find it hard to figure out what his problem is. Saw his video online around draft period. Looked half decent at the time.

Maybe just one of those players that shines as a junior but can't cut it against the men.

Shone so bright as a junior that he didn't even get into the SA under 18's side or the SANFL seniors. Ugh.

Terrible isn't it. Even with three knee reconstructions I'd prefer Menzel.

Hope Howie proves us wrong.

He's not quick, can't kick, and isn't good in a contested situation.

He's got good endurance and can find a bit of footy but at the end of the day just isn't a good enough footballer to make it at AFL level. I don't think it's through lack of effort or attitude he's just not very good.

Weird round of Footy.

3 of top 4 get done, 2 of them sound floggings, and the other in the top 4 gets a scare from an inferior opponent.

Can't help but laugh at Carlton. Their fans were deluded enough to believe that Malthouse was the final piece of the puzzle. I'll be putting some money on us this week, think we'll roll them.

Port continue to surprise me. Hats of to Ken Hinkley. Another win to them virtually shuts the gate on Carlton. Can't see West Coast, North or Brisbane winning 4 out of 4 to catch them.

I was hoping we'd be longer odds than $2.95 but yeah we are a great chance against them.
