Mine too. Lost my voice in the first quarter. I think we kicked 8 in that first quarter, is that right?

Took me about 3 months to get over that choke job in the prelim.

My friend said to me at quarter time of that game that when he dies and goes to heaven he expected that it would feel exactly like that.

The Dent Hit on Cresswell was very enjoyable.
The Swans had been talking up a tough game and promptly got smashed.

Same here - watched it again this afternoon and still get chills, especially when Monty kicks his long goal during the 1st quarter avalanche.

So many what ifs with this prelim final for us. If we had of won and got into the GF and won the premiership it really could of transformed our club. But it wasn't to be.

I was a young kid but I can still remember the exhilaration of being there on the day and watching us unleash in that first quarter.

I've always hoped we'd reproduce a performance like that in a prelim where everything clicks and we make it all look too easy. Just one perfect day is all I want.

Sounds great comrade. Someday that great PF final performance will come and it will be our year.

I remember playing a Basketball game against him around 1999. He said then he wasn't far off getting back in the side, but the shape he was in and he was pretty spent by the end, I didn't see it happening. From memory he didn't play again after that?

The sad fact is that.as good
As emphatic as the performance against the Swans was whenever we abbreviate the term '97 Final people will think of that game.
