B&F- Griffen, just in front of Libba, with Roughead, Morris, and Murphy to make up the top 5

Best First Year player- McCrae, with Goodes and Young a strong chance, and Hunter a smoky

Most Improved- Roughead, edging out Libba due to his higher starting point.

Most Improved: Libba ( has shown an immense amount of guts and character to turn around after last years incident)

Most courageous: Dahl ( Crossy again if played more games)

I think Griff will win it with Libba the only danger.

I note that Stache leaves Minson out of his top 5 and he may well be right.

While Will has been almost out best player over the last 2 years he did not even make top 10 last year and was behind Markovic in the B&F.

This does indicate a reluctance to give votes to the Big Fella.

One of the anomolies of voting in B&F is that you could be 5th or 6th best EVERY WEEK and have less votes than someone who had 2 or 3 really good games, but was a liability most of the remainder of the season.

For me Will was our most consistent performer.

I thought Minson was clearly in our best three along with Griffen and Liberatore. I would be surprised if those three players are not stand outs in the voting with Griffen the likely winner.

It might turn out that way, but listening to some of BMac's comments during the season I'm not convinced he rates Minson's work as highly as some others. He mentioned that's he's a very good tap ruckman, but the great ruckman can link up play around the ground, take marks, and push forward and kick goals, and that Will can't do those things.

Last season's B&F results seemed to mirror that view.

I got the top 5 - just not the right order :D

Last year I thought Minson had a great year too (not as good) but didn't finish well so like others, I suspected he may just be a little off the pace - well done to him.
