Hi all, those of you who've been here a while will remember Adam, known here as Da Druid. I was in the city today, and came across him near the Bourke St Mall (I think that's where it was!). He said he is "a lot better than I was", although it had been quite a "long road". He asked me to pass on his best wishes to the WOOFers, mentioned that he had no hard feelings towards the folks here.

This is good to hear. I know exactly what it's like in the headspace he was in, so I'm glad the wheel is turning positive for him.

Didn't sound like it, in his words "now there's 18 teams I can pick on"

Mental health is a major problem.

Mental health is a major problem.

Part and parcel of following the Doggies.:D

Seriously, glad to see Adam is on the road to recovery and doing well.

Will be a long and hard road from where he was.

I am unaware of what has happened to da druid. I didn't realise he was ill, I thought he was just taking a break. I wish him well. I look forward to seeing him back at the footy cheering the doggies on one day. I also look forward to reading his quirky posts on this forum.

Good to hear Adam is doing better. Did he still have the red white and blue mohawk.

No, not from what I could tell. He was wearing a cap.

Were his teeth nice and shiny? He earned them with his repartee with Sam Newman and gave Sam a chance to show his better side.

Haha, yes that's right.

Gee, I hope Adam is alright. Was lucky to banter with him many times and a easier going person you couldn't hope to meet. When Bmac speaks of his love for Bulldogs people, he is referring directly to people as passionate and awesomely eccentric as Adam.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that he said "Peter Gordon has been trying to get me back there, but I'm not interested"

Make of that what you will.

Which probably extends from his other issues. Honestly though he probably should be on his hands and knees thanking a few people there. I don't know enough about him or issues to make to much of a judgement call though.

Anyway good to hear he's doing better. Hope he gets through it.

Well, let's just wish the guy well. Everyone has a bit of the passionate fan in them that we all know can go awry or misfire. Very glad to hear he is better.

Agree it should be left at this.

Well said GD, best to let it lie before the can is open and the worms get out.
