It's going to be hard to split the votes I think.

3. Crameri - Thought he really fired up the forward line.

2. Minson - doesn't take many marks, but h really fought this out and with 55 tap outs he was the best big man

1. Libba - little ripper

Difficult to do votes today as some players who were huge in the first half had quieter second halves.

4. Macrae....thought he was almost the most influential player on the ground and certainly one of the cleanest.
3. Crameri....wow! what a first half. His running and workrate were huge. Quieter in the second half but set up our win and kicked a big goal in the last
2. Libba....back to his workmanlike best and recaptured his grunt this week
1. Minson....absolutely controlled the ruck in the first half and lifted at critical times in the last quarter.

Thought Jones and Higgins were also excellent today as was Picken apart from a couple of ordinary kicks to no-one.

Marmo:

4. Macrae - we have a special talent on our hands. He became our most important run and carry mid with Griff still finding his touch and he was brilliant today - such composure and decision-making from a player so young.
3. Liberatore - huge last qtr in the clinches. Won't get noticed by most media scribes but his work in tight was exceptional
2. Boyd - he was really good in both directions today and didn't butcher the ball anywhere near as badly as he's done previously
1. Crameri - he's Cheesy Barlow but with skill. Massively important to our structure - when we need the get out option, he presents time and time again

Apologies to Jones, Cooney and Morris, who pantsed Riewoldt for 80% of the game until the umpires decided to gift him a couple of confidence-boosting 'marks' that wouldn't have been paid in a wet bog at Moorabbin in the 80's

4 Macrae-wow! The best sub 20 year old to pull the jumper on since Griff.
3 Libba-Kept getting his hands on the ball and giving us first use
2 Murph-class and poise told all day. That play in the second quarter where he he kept showing the Richmond players the ball but stepped around them every time they tried to get a hand on it then hit (think it was Jones) on the lead was awesome.
1 Morris-see opponent, beat opponent, make opponent cry!

4. Libba - Was just huge in that last quarter. I loved hearing Macca is his presser after the match say that when there was around a minute to go and a stoppage on the wing he yelled out "where's Libba, is Libba in there" once he saw Libba around the contest he knew we would be right.
3. Macrae - Consistent over the 4 quarters. Love him.
2. Crameri - Best on Ground at half time, then came good late to help us get over the line. Great gut running.
1. Boyd - A great well rounded game by Boyd.

That kick on his right foot to Gia was one of the ungliest actions I've ever seen.

Has anyone ever seen Macrae kick on his right? Mind you with a side step like he has, perhaps he's never needed to.
