WOOF Player Awards - (WPA)

Here is the tally Board after our Round 1 game against West Coast.

Tuesday evenings around 8.00pm will be the cut off time to cast your votes after a game....then soon after the results will be up on this thread.

Round 1: - West Coast v Western Bulldogs votes

Comments -

Marmo -Jackson Macrae and Lachie Hunter burst out the blokes, perhaps indicating that second year blues won't be an issue for these future champions of our Club.

Marmo -Two senior players tie for the major votes this week, both having strong defensive games, whilst another vet in Murphy picks a couple of votes up and young Jacko Macrae continues his excellent start to the season.

James -Jacko extends his lead, whilst Dahl posts his first votes of the season.

Marmo -Again, our senior players show the way with Boydy having a great game, well supported by Higgins, Picken and Easton Wood who finally receives some votes after a consistent start to the year.

James -Jacko Macrae continues on his way building a huge lead, with some close competition for the final vote between Jones and Tom Young, with the big forward just edging him out.

Congratulations to Jackson Macrae for taking home both awards this year. With Libba also rewarded for another great season being the runner up for both awards. Ryan Griffen rounded out the top 3 in the Marmo and a great effort from Bonti to finish 6th in his first season.

Some interesting results with Minson only picking up 3 votes. Alot were suprised with Wood's placing in the Best and Fairest, however he only managed 5 votes in the Marmo. Murphy also a little lower than expected.

Also sorry it's so hard to read...

Sorry to be pedantic but the placings should be as above. If two players come equal 14th then the next player is the 16th best, not 15th etc.
