Can I ask that all votes have the four Marmo and two James recommendations. The players have worked their backsides off for us.

4 - Libba - what a little champ he is, 10 tackles, 13 clearances, 23 cont. possies. Wears innumerable hard hits for the team every game.
3 - Macrae - one of the better games I've seen this guy play. Awareness is elite, hope he can continue to be aggressive with his use.
2 - Jones - immense pressure from the big guy was a big reason for us coming away with the chocies.
1 - Grant - didn't waste a single possession, is exactly what we've been screaming out for across half forward.

2 - Libba
1 - Macrae

Apologies to Griff who battled through pain and a hard tag to return to top form.

4/ Libba- One of the all time great performances in the tri-colour. Not sure what else to say
3/ Griff- Hampered but battled on, was huge
2/ Jones- Just had a day when he was on top of the world, a few mistakes with the ball but threw himself around and ran out the game
1/ Macrae- Most impressed by his damage with ball in hand which has been my knock on him, terrific game young fella

Apologies (and it's a pleasure to have them) Wallis, Bonti, Minson, Dalhaus, Gia. On other days they would have featured at the point end

Can't remember a game for a long time where the votes have been this hard.

4. Libba. Said in the 3 things thread, his potential may be limitless. Extraordinary.
3. Griffen. Shook a hard tag and hard knocks to provide a classic Captain's game.
2. Jones. Career best game. If he sticks the hanger in the first and dobs his fifth goal he challenges for BOG.
1. Bontempelli. Just oozed class all game. When the whole 7 commentary box is gushing over you, you know you've made it. 200 game player.

Minson, Macrae and Dahlhaus all unlucky.

2 to Libba and 1 to Jones for the Ronnie.

4/ Libba. I don't like equating our players with players from other clubs but Libba could be our GAJ.

3/ Bont. Unbelievable will and determination to affect so many contests especially in the third quarter. I love that thing he does when he slaps the ball out an opponent's hand just as he goes to handball it.

2/ Dal. I was worried when he went into the midfield that we'd lose more than we gained but he was our best midfielder in the first half.

1/ Jones. Fantastic defensive efforts and to top it off with 4 goals. It must be much easier to play in a forward line when the ball comes in like that rather than sideways and up and down and all around. If he'd nailed the goal to seal the game I would have given him more votes.

Ronny James

2/ Libba
1/ Bont

But really;

Team effort.
