His twitter account is Tom_Boyd17

Does that mean he will wear Cooney's old number?

He was #17 at Eastern Ranges in the TAC
I believe this has always been his account name....

And the summary:

- Looking most forward to playing alongside Nathan Hrovat in the forwardline (in answer to my question!!! :) )
- No superstitions but eats pasta every night before
- Has great confidence and values thanks to his parents
- Honeychurch gave him plenty of goals for Eastern, looking forward to linking up with him again
- Has played with all of Honeychurch, Macrae, Hrovat and Bonts
- Not sure what number he will wear at this stage
- Was asked whether we would play deep FF or roaming CHF - said both, whatever is best for the team
- Likes the patriots in the NFL but isn't his favourite international sport
- Wasn't much of a bowler, but was ok with the bat in cricket
- Socks down
- Al Pacino in Any Given Sunday (in response to Rock V or Any Given Sunday before a game)
- Spent alot of time watching Tom Hawkins, J Brown and K Tippet
- back in training with the young guys on November 5th
- looking most forward to working on his strength and endurance

I think thats about it!
- 12 (in response to "a a party, everyone shook hands with everybody else. There were 66 handshakes. How many people were at the party?)

They are the answers to the questions I posed.

He has acquitted himself very well today and has come across as sensible and mature beyond his years.

Rocky V? That's a weird one.

I laughed at the one that asked him which of his 31 AFL kicks he felt was his best.

There are some twisted people out there in the twitterverse.

He was very impressive and clever not to give a headline in the paper tomorrow in his interview. Didn't get sucked into reporters trying to make a story with leading questions.
For a 19 yo he is very mature and very smart.

Very impressive speaker that Tom Boyd.

On another note, I posted three questions and not one was answered, what gives?

Probably came across as too desperate.

Maybe the lack of an answer is the answer in itself!?

Think he means that Silvagni looks to be leaving the Giants after the trade period. Whether or not that would be as a direct result of the Boyd deal I'd say would be stretching it a bit.

I asked him a few questions. Concerned that he prefers socks down as opposed to either socks up, or a combination of one sock up, one sock down. However, his choice of Any Given Sunday as a pre Big Game pump up speech over Rocky IV gets a thumbs up and IMO is grounds for us to start lining up for GF tickets.

Now? We'd miss the entire footy season.

Pretty good authority he wasn't happy that Matthews did this without him knowing .
