Feelgood vibez.

His footy's a genuine joy to watch lately. Just 22 years old, hasn't cracked 50 games yet, future's so bright ...

“He (Beveridge) drives us to play on instinct.

“We’ve got that freedom. It suits our game style.”

Johannisen is picking up all he can from 33-year-old Murphy, who he agreed had been an inspired choice as captain to replace Ryan Griffen, who went to Greater Western Sydney.

“I’m trying to mould my game around him,” Johannisen said."

It's easy to forget that he's only 22.

Just keeps improving.

Actually I thought he was older. Has been fantastic this year.

Gee that Scotty Clayton knows how to pick them. JJ, Murphy, Wood, Morris, Boyd. Hang on nearly the whole backline. ;)

JJ has always had the attributes to be a high quality AFL player.

He has speed, is very underrated for his one on on defending work and is a very good user of the ball.

His main issue has been decision making and execution. Which have improved drastically this season.

Still plenty of improvement left in him too! Which is great for us!

Yes going great guns at Gold Coast :)
Clearly didn't get enough early picks

Yes, and on the flip side criticism where it's due.
McMahon, Power Walsh Grant . 1st round mistakes are a killer.
I've got no problem with him as a recruiter, but he's held in higher regard than he should be.

Gotta say he looked a bit frightened to take the game on under McCartney.
Looks a completely different player under Beveridge .
Just watching him this year you can see why he was chased by the likes of Essendon 12 months or so ago
