Once the Round 14 match against Carlton is completed, let us know the three things you learned after watching the match.

Be constructive but be honest.

1. Daniel can play, irrespective of height, weight or eye colour.
2. Loving seeing talented players raise their level: Wood, Kobes, Grant etc.
3. Winning is great, but watching the last two games weren't great.

1. Our biggest area of improvement needed is still our ball movement going forward. We just butcher so many opportunities that the better teams nail.
2. A sign of maturity perhaps that when the game was in the balance we were the team that burst out and took the initiative.
3. 2 poor weeks of footy, just looking like our young legs are getting tired? Going to be a crucial month ahead, hope we aren't siezing up just when a top 8 spot is within reach.

1. If you can play, you can play. Height is nothing.
2. The only thing holding back Jake Stringer is Jake Stringer.
3. Footy isn't everything.

1. Tom Boyd is critical to our forward setup
2. Caleb Daniel will make Simon Dalrymple look like a genius
3. We're already having trouble running out games and will struggle to win too many more if that doesn't change

1. 168cm is plenty tall enough.
2. Redpath needs to be either a) in the goalsquare b) on the wing or c) in the VFL.
3. Jake reads the newspaper.

Caleb won't be sub next week

Redpath adds to the team

Even though it was ugly we won again

1. It's so satisfying to experience unsatisfying wins again for the first time in 5 years.
2. Jake Stringer makes goals out of nothing more consistently than any other player in the competition.
3. We drafted at least three AFL standard players last year.

Scorbilo, out of Webb, Bailey, McLean and Daniel is not afl standard?

Add Cordy to the list as well

I think what Scorlibo is saying is that 3 have already proven themselves.

1. Our class of 2014 are fantastic. We will look back at this draft in a very positive light
2. Winning when you are not playing well is a sign of maturity. Our team is mature beyond its years
3. Our defensive pressure really is our strength at the moment

Yep, I'm already sold on Webb, McLean and Daniel. Not ready to make the call on Dale, though he has shown promise, and Cordy who is yet to play AFL.

What a great draft.

Especially if Hamilton makes it too:)

1. Teams have worked out our game plan, but Bevo is already on to it.

2. Learnt that dribble shots are not the way to kick the ball

3. We need Tom Boyd to straighten us up

Geez I could've throttled Honeychurch for that effort of his.

He joins Lin Jong and Mitch Wallis in my own personal "dribble file".

I'm sure Dickson read him the riot act.

1/ it's brililiant sitting up on level 3 and just watching our team. Players running on and off the interchange trying to get a loose man in the forward line, little niggles, Jarryd Grant running, yelling and pointing furiously all at the same time, players trying to get the match ups they want. It's like a great big machine trying to kickstart itself to produce forward momentum and kick goals.

2/ Caleb Daniel has entered the building. Woods goal (I think) in the third quarter was created by a turnover caused by pressure on the kicker by Daniel. 30 000 people saying Daniel at the same time makes a funny sound.

3/ we can win ugly. That's what good teams do.

2015 sees a new and very promising version of Jarrad Grant.
The young recruits are composed beyond their years.
Mitch Wallis is looking more and more like the next captain.

Koby Stevens mid field efforts - need him to continue to support Mitch's in Libba's absence
Caleb Daniel's "score involvement" stats - 5 for half a game. What will be his contribution for a full game?
Minson's plays best against ruck men similar to himself (loved his tap to Macrae in the last quarter from out of the centre)

1.) Caleb Daniel despite his height looks like he'll be quality

2.) Need our ball movement and skills to improve - it really lets us down and frustrates many of our supporters

3.) Despite the win last night we need to lift our intensity a bit more in the game
