I'm going to check out tickets in the first instance and if they come through just pull two massive driving stints together with a mate or two to close it out.

Nothing a few decent techno CD's on the way up, and a decent meal can't break up. Driving eight hours in a day is easy.

On the radio yesterday Simon Lethlean from the AFL has guaranteed (don't know how) that ANY Western Bulldogs member that can get to Spotless Stadium next week will get a ticket, as long as they get onto the Ticketmaster website before 1pm Monday - they don't think the Giants allocation will be anywhere near exhausted by then and will make extra tickets available to travelling members if required.

This was guaranteed so maybe make travel arrangements now and if you don't get a ticket on Monday contact Simon at the AFL and complain very loudly until you get one.

It has just been made a little harder to get a ticket.

They have announced that you can buy 4 tickets per membership.

With a max of 10 tickets per transaction. It'll be fine. There will be lucky to be 10k GWS supporters on the universe and not all of them will attend anyways

Will be driving up on Friday and staying with a Sydney based relative. Most likely will stay Saturday night but have considered leaving Sydney at 3am to get back in time for the VFL.

Change drivers occasionally and you'll be fine.

At least every hour if you're leaving at 3am. They're are plenty of towns along the Hume so plenty of opportunities to stop.
