Thanks to Al I have been watching the different highlights packages with the different commentaters. I thought James Brayshaw nailed with his "they're through to a Granny!!!!!!" call just as Dickson takes the chest mark with 28 seconds on the clock.

Haven't heard much radio commentry but the replays of Huddo's SEN call of Bont's goal was spine tingling.

No highlights from BT and the fox crew.

Listened to some of ABC's commentary on SoundCloud on the way back from Sydney.. Gerard nailed the last 5 or so minutes.

Just came to post this after watching the 9 minute highlight video on the Bulldogs website. His voice was cracking a little as he yelled it.

Darcy in (I think) the last quarter..."Giants fans... They don't know what to do with themselves"... Camera cuts to Darce standing in the booth... "I don't know what to do with myself!"

Not sure if I got it word for word, but you get the gist..

Did you see the vision from the back of the box of that moment? He was dishing out the fist pumps and hugging Richo.

Also, BT tapped Darc on the shoulder to let him have the reigns for that moment.

It was brilliant. I don't always enjoy the work of the Saturday team - but to see BT give Darce the reins like that, and to see Richo genuinely pleased for Darce, certainly shows a different side of them.

On a side note, I went to the Hawks v Geelong game, and sat within arms reach of Richo who was doing the boundary. Really impressed that with all the noise and carry on down on the boundary, how he can even follow what the commentators in the box are saying, let alone provide some analysis of the game in the right moments. Gave me some appreciation to see it up close.

I just saw the footage of Luke Darcy. Oh my lordy, it made me so so happy. His voice broke with emotion. Richo was also being a top bloke, all excited for Darce. It was so cute.

I loved Darc's call at the end, such love for the doggie's, it will stick with me for a long time (although i'm hoping it get's surpassed about 5pm on saturday)

Luke Darcy has been a character I have found hard to love as a club man, but he has entered a list of beloved Bulldog people now on the back of his commentary on the weekend and a few rants in defence of the club.

Great call from Huddo, is it Shaw on 3AW who calls it and gets every part of the play wrong ?
