I'm sure Queen & Bowie will get a run. For me a little different thinking of what can be Saturday Night; Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins:

Time is never time at all
You can never ever leave without leaving a piece of youth
And our lives are forever changed
We will never be the same
The more you change the less you feel

Believe, believe in me, believe
That life can change, that you're not stuck in vain
We're not the same, we're different tonight
Tonight, so bright
Tonight

And you know you're never sure
But you're sure you could be right
If you held yourself up to the light
And the embers never fade in your city by the lake
The place where you were born

Believe, believe in me, believe
In the resolute urgency of now
And if you believe there's not a chance tonight
Tonight, so bright. Tonight

We'll crucify the insincere tonight
We'll make things right, we'll feel it all tonight
We'll find a way to offer up the night, tonight
The indescribable moments of your life, tonight
The impossible is possible, tonight
Believe in me as I believe in you, tonight

Sweet Disposition - the Temper Trap
The Sweat Descends - Les Savy Fav
Loud Like Love - Placebo
Heads Will Roll - the Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Love Like Semtex - Infadels
Not Afraid of Romance - Machine Gun Fellatio

I kind of hate the fact that Sweet Disposition was used in AFL ads, but now I envision our boys crashing around in slow-mo and celebrating whenever I listen to it!

Surely The Living End will play West End Riot pre-match?

There's a kid who was born and was raised in the west
There's a kid from the east who never really fit in with the rest
Every week they would meet in the street with their friends
With the guns that they made and the caps that they stole
They would fight to the death

This time
We'll have victory
Last time
Ended in defeat
Our town
Becomes a battleground (hey)
Battleground (hey)
Battleground

West end riot (riot)
West end riot (riot)
We'll be here next saturday
With our guns and our heads held high
So listen up boys
You'd better not cry this time

That 'Western Bulldogs - taking over' song has been in my head for 3 weeks.

Apart from the bulldog themed classic footy songs of yesteryear,

I think i'll be listening to something like "freedom" from Rage against the machine on the train to the G.
Or at least i'll finish with that one, if that doesn't get you fired up nothing will.

I reckon 'Smooth Sailing' by Queens of the Stone Age is perfect:

It's all in motion
No stoppin' now
I've got nothin' to lose
And only one way up

I'm burning bridges
I destroy the mirage
Oh, visions of collisions
*!*!*!*!in 'bon voyage

It's all smooth sailing
From here on out

I got bruises and hickies
Stitches and scars
Got my own theme music
It plays wherever I are

Fear is the hand
That pulls your strings
A useless toy
Pitiful plaything

I'm inflagranti
In every way

It's all smooth sailing
From here on out
I'm gon' do the damage
That needs gettin' done

God only knows
Where love vacations
If reason is priceless
There's no reason to pay for it

It's so easy to see
And so hard to find
Make a mountain of a mole hill
If the mole hill is mine

I hypnotize you
And no one can find you
I blow my load
Over the status quo
Here we go

I'm a little bit nonchalant
But I dance
I'm risking it always
No second chance

It's gonna be smooth sailing
From here on out
I'm gon' do the damage
'Til the damage is done yeah

God only knows
So mind your behavior
Follow prescriptions
Of your lord and saviour

Every temple is gold
Every hook is designed
Hell is but the temple
Of the closed mind
Closed mind
Closed mind
Closed mind

It's all smooth sailing
From here on out
Shut up
Pow!
