The AFL Players’ Association have today unveiled the 2017 22Under22 squad, with four Western Bulldogs players named in the 40-man group.

Marcus Bontempelli, Lachie Hunter, Toby McLean and Caleb Daniel have all been recognised for their performances across the 2017 home and away season.

To be eligible for selection, players must be aged 22 years and under for the entirety of the season, including the finals series.

Now in its fifth year, 22Under22 is the industry’s only recognised fan-voted award and provides the footy public with the power to select the final 22.

Fans can now visit 22under22.com.au to cast their vote, before the final team is revealed at the AFL Players’ MVP Awards on Tuesday, September 12.

Voting closes on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

How does Sean Darcy get a ruck gig before Tom Boyd? Boyd has even played more games than him!

It's 22 and under, so he's eligible.

Nice to have 4 players recognised in the squad, and a lot of talent across the squad too, a lot are rightfully in AA contention. Footy is increasingly a young mans game.

Yep, as long as you don't turn 23 before the grand final you are eligible.

Jack Macrae only misses out by 2 months.

Did the Bont stand in front of a mirror before he left the house? Or did he wear that jacket for a dare?
