Rotten news; he doesn't deserve this.

That's normal people's time out with a knee injury though, and this is Moz. He'll just need to start on the bench in round 1, and warm into things half way through the first quarter.

Bevo spoke about Moz’s injury at the Family Day this morning and he alluded to him hopefully being available after the mid season bye round.

That's no good but he will be back before you know it. Moz is one who just keeps going even when times a tough.

What rotten luck. We have had more than our fair share of injuries for a couple of years now. Surely the worm must turn soon.

Surely he can at least get to 250 games. Shame he didn't play 300.

Morris will not require surgery, but Bulldogs medical services manager Chris Bell said it could be 12 weeks before the club knew how long the defender would be out of action.

That might be a more concerning quote. Up to 12 weeks to know how long he'll be out for? I guess it's something that either heals on its own after that length of time, or if not, then maybe surgery would then be needed.

And so it begins

Let's hope it's the only major one for the year. As merantau said "Surely the worm must turn soon".

Dale Morris is like the Japanese Hot Springs, he laughs in the face of the average person's healing powers

Poor Moz. He just can't take a trick. Hopefully he will play a role in the second part of the season.

Been thinking about this a bit tonight. As much as I believe Moz is a resilient, tough SOB, I reckon that's it for him ☹️ The injuries are stacking up. They're not old man injuries but at his age you need things to go right on that front and it's just going a bit pear shaped in his twilight.

My prediction, a sad and grisly one. Comes back, blows it out again or tears a hammy within 3 games. Career over. Sorry for the negativity, it just feels like it's headed that way to me. He is a hero and deserves a much better exit from the game than that, so my fingers are crossed he wins a 2nd flag instead.

Except it's Dale Morris we are talking about. He probably didn't even notice the injury.

"Moz!"
"What"
"what's wrong with your leg?"
"What?"
"It's just hanging there attached by a piece of skin"
"Oh shit, so it is"
