I hope we can get as many Doggies supporters there for our first home match of the year. A dissapointing start but having the crowd might give us the edge hopefully.

Should be there on Sunday to catch up again with people I sit near for another Doggies season.

Of course I will be there, I think it would be more interesting to hear why people might not be able to attend,

Unlikely - will have a new puppy by then and my old man can’t make it because of work so I might just watch this one at home.

Yep. Haven't missed a home game in 5 years. Though I left my membership at home one day and had to buy a ticket at the gate which cost me a spot in the year book! Looking forward to it, Easter Sunday at the footy reminds me of when we used to have reserved seats at WO. An old lady behind us always would have an Easter egg for me, & ask how I went at junior footy. Never knew her name or anything meaningful about her but it was a nice feeling seeing the familiar faces again early in the season. The ppl around you become your footy family for the season.

Having made the effort to go up to Canberra I'm going to give this one a miss and head away with the kids.

Having a poorly selected team play half-arsed footy isn't a great way to get me motivated to make plans to include the footy this Easter.

I'll probably go but will wait for the team to be announced. In the likely event our better team lines up in a VFL practice match I might go to that instead.

Yes the people around you certainly become your footy family. Always great to catch up and discuss stuff relating to the Dogs and the game. Plan sometime this year to catch up with some woofers as well at the footy if I can.

I will be there.

I am certainly hoping for a better effort, which starts with selection of a side that actually could win.

I was at Footscray Historical Society a couple of weeks ago and they took me to meet a bloke who was doing a job in a back room. Anyway it turns out its one of the guys I stand at the footy with. I greet him by name, he greets me by name, the person introducing us says "you know each other?"
"Oh yeah we've been watching bulldog games together for 40 odd years"
"oh well I can leave the two of you together, you must know one another pretty well"
"actually, no, as far as I can remember this is the first time we've met away from the football!"

Feeling slightly more optimistic we will play a better structured team after seeing the extended squad.

I'll be in my usual home reserve seat on Level 1 Aisle 33.

Expecting a good atmosphere around there on Sunday and the the big Bulldog chants after we get a goal.

Yes. But that's only 4 of us in Australia. We don't have anyone else. Few more friends maybe.

Good on you merantau. Back home for a while from Indonesia.

Yes mate and really looking forward to the game. I should be around until mid-June so will get to see a fair few games. In 2016 I only saw about 3 games one of which was ... THE GRAND FINAL!!!
