Losing on a Thursday night is going to be a real bummer isn't it? Two whole days extra to be miserable watching other games.

If we lose badly, at least GCS StKilda will have a ghoulish fascination, as the winner of that game could potentially rescusitate their season and ultimately get us to draft pick 4.

Called it out last night with one of Port's goals, and it's happened again with Papley's first goal tonight. Defenders will be able to have their arms chopped without penalty against forwards more so than previously, just keep an eye on it.

Good to see the Swans do the right thing for Grundy in his 250th. Grundy is a criminally underrated defender.

Not anymore DR. Over the last couple of years he is getting the recognition.

How good is Elliot Yeo? If only we had someone with half his pace, goal kicking ability and dare.

Some real thrashings this season - we aren't the only ones.

Carlton currently 10 goals down and it's not half time yet. They have kicked 7 behinds no goals. :D

Sydney’s defence once again wins them a game
Grundy has been one excellent player
West coast bombed a bit too often and left a few goals out there

Freo are fielding a younger team than Carlton . Don’t fall for this nonsense about Carlton being young
Those green shoots have just been sprayed with zero weed killer

Yep, it's a wonder what a bit of navy blue roundup can do.

Strewth, competition for the first overall draft pick's as fierce as competition for top spot.

Increasingly hard to see Alan Richardson seeing the year out.

EDIT: Errr ...

Did St Kilda rally and win it for Richo?

His incredibly durable , has played over 20 game a season since 2008. Stagggered to think he could not get a game at Adelaide .

I listened for a while in the third. Saints were 33 points behind and GCS were all over them.

Good win by the Tigers. They're hanging in well at the moment.

They seem focused on backing up from last years flag. Not sure if they are that good but full credit too them for putting themselves in a position to give it a good go.

As a side note is there any correlation between the way France and Rance flip flop trying to con the umpires? :) Perhaps we call him Alex France from now on.

Very good. When you really look at it it occurs after a while that the only difference is an F. An F is nothing.. I used to get heaps of those on my school report every term. They seemed to hand them out like confetti.

Viva la Rance!

When "Son of Murray" flops at least there is some contact (that he exaggerates - like Buddy). Some of the diving from the French was downright embarrasing, especially when the replay showed there was zero contact. VAR should be used for this to eliminate this ugly part of the game.

You mean Lance? Lance, Rance and France....I think I'm onto something :)

And have such an amazing advantage at the G. They grab top 2 they'll be nearly impossible to stop.
