All,

Some issues with the configurations this morning for about 5 hours. Lucky one of the tech guys jumped onto it about 9am
It's all fixed now

Thanks, it must be different browsers. Explorer is working for me but I've just checked Chrome and the images aren't displaying properly

I'll get him to have a look again

Yeah same, I usually use Chrome and there's something wrong. Checked Explorer and it's fine.

Just deleted cookies for the Woof site, all acting normal for me now (and no I didn't know how to do it, needed to use the Chrome tutorial page).

Left shift + F5 should fix that
Clear the Cache also works

Let me know if it doesn't fix it because it worked on mine

I think the Chrome versions we might be using could be a bit older than what BAD is using.

When I get home I will check Firefox and a couple of others

Was trying to post up Peter Gordon's article in HUN. If you were doing the same one AXEMAN, I will leave it up to you, I won't get a chance till tonight.

I'm now getting this error simply trying to post in an existing thread.

Possibly something to do with copying and pasting as it seems to work ok if I just type (as per this post).

Thanks for letting me know. I'm having trouble getting our technical expert for the forum to locate the same issue. I'll let him know again but I haven't experienced the same problem for quite a while now

We are probably overdue for an upgrade and need to find a decent window to do it.

if I copy something from an article and try and post it, I get the message. I have to paste as plain text. Today i got the error on my phone. I normally use a computer when pasting articles.

I was wanting to add links to articles in the Contract List thread OP but i gives me the above error every time.

Any chance of getting this fixed?

The long, lets say way overdue upgrade will happen next week.
We think there is also a solution to the 403 forbidden issue and I'm hoping we can add a few extras to the site

If the site is down early next week it will be because of the upgrade

We will work on the newer version in the back ground. If anyone is interested being a test pilot for that please contact me and I can send through the link

I just tried adding some links in the OP of the player contract thread - it hasn't let me do that without the 403 error for months, but I was just able to do is successfully! Fingers crossed it may have been fixed.

Love the responses. I've worked in IT for 20+ years and have been a part of some major roll outs and it's very hard to introduce something that maybe better under the hood, but look different up above to the most important people of course the fine folk who use the system.
I'm on both sides :)
All I can say is be aware as consumers of the site that there is management and overhead that goes with that. Sometimes introducing a change to the back end (underlying infrastructure) is very important and can totally streamline the way the admins perform their tasks. It obviously also can be disruptive to the most important folk but short term pain long term gain to grab a cliche. Anyway all the arguments are valid I'm just sharing my experiences. Thanks to Gary for all the hard work as I'm sure you have all conveyed.

I've merged some boards together for a more consolidated look. We simply have too many boards for the amount of contributors we have and I might also look at some other changes

We will also start to work on a more mobile phone friendly and upgraded vbulletin option but will do this in the background to see if we can get something close to what we already have but with some more advanced features

If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to contact me.

Yep, :) I renewed the licence and loaded it unknowing that they have stuck an extra level of complexity that needed to be completed
