OK. I'm gonna start a thread to hopefully get someone to notice this kid.
Would love to grab him and in my opinion he fits our needs pretty well.
Moves well, looks smart, fast and very athletic. Skills look pretty polished.
A menacing, pacy, high leaping goal kicker.
Looks like he could transition into the midfield pretty seamlessly too.

Really great physique for footy, great legs, and, in the highlights at least, seems to use the ball well, tackle well, and run to the right spots for repeat possession chains.

MIHAIL LOCHOWIAK (SOUTH AUSTRALIA)

The dashing 19-year-old was overlooked in 2018 after winning the running vertical jump at the South Australia state combine. In the SANFL Reserves this season, Lochowiak has been utilised in the attacking half of the ground, booting 13 goals from six matches. The 186cm player can be used as a utility, averaging 13.7 disposals at 66 per cent efficiency. He has an attacking state of frame, averaging 3.5 tackles and booted a bag of five goals against Glenelg in Round 4. His brother Anzac, is eligible for the 2019 draft. Lochowiak could suit a club like Gold Coast or Carlton, looking for a goalkicking forward.

I think I'm in love. I sincerely hope he's on our radar.

Any insights?

Very impressive in the clip, has some good evasive skills and some pace.

I don't see it personally. Kicks flat punts, bounces the ball for no reason seemingly, has an awkward handball style, and is playing the equivalent of VFL reserves. He seems quick, but that's where it starts and stops with me based on that clip. If we were recruiting him for bouncing a football while jogging however, I'd have him in a heart beat.

Think he needs to play in a higher grade, not sure what grade this is but it can’t be to high, they are all wearing different coloured shorts.
Bring him up a grade or two then see if he can match it.
Has a very good natural build though and looks like good hands.

Maybe I got a little over excited. I just like the way he moves I guess.

Keep 'em coming DD. It all provides good discussion and that's what we are here for after all.

I hadn't heard of him before I read about him just now. Now I do.

Good for discussion though and good for someone to put a name up in lights. We are going to have pick 5-8 I think, in just a few weeks. It will be of equal or more importance to me than the election (I've already voted though), so hopefully we get the concept right. Be it KPD vs pressure small forward, or ready made to impact now vs long term bargain kid. I just don't see it with him. But I'm still trying to work out 'ready made vs kid', although the goal kicking type interests me more.

If he's quick he's lackadaisical, a quick loper? Seems a bit unsure with his decision making as well goes sideways / short too much.

Yeah very much a loper than having outright pace from that clip, however like others, I’d like to see him up another grade at least.

In fairness, we once rookied a kid out of Frankston VFL reserves and he ended up ok.

The peanut mans nephew ?

That's him.

That peanut man and his brother owned those X-rated newsagents that used to be on Flinders st back in the days when we had to buy porn and not get It delivered via the internet. The rumor was they were very rich men.

Very much an old school full forward. Stay in and around he square, stick up the big mits and take the mark. I wonder how he would go v AFL defenders and AFl systems. Worth a punt.

I think he'd struggle in two levels up, probably just one level up, as I'm assuming that's why he's played only two SANFL senior games this year for one goal, and been in the reserves the rest.
