The average team score for the 2019 H&A season was 80.4
The lowest since 1967 (78.8)
Last decade:
2010 - 90.5
2011 - 93.0
2012 - 92.1
2013 - 92.8
2014 - 86.5
2015 - 86.6
2016 - 88.8
2017 - 89.5
2018 - 83.5
2019 - 80.4

To me it is not a big deal. Defense is so much stronger these days, with tackling at an all time high compared to back in the 60s.

Agree but the "mud heaps" that players played on in the 60's made it hard for high scores.

Completely unfazed but love that their contortions to manufacture more razzle dazzle wound up yielding the opposite.

Cannot wait to see what they double down with this off-season.

Our 100 and over point games will bump it up next year :-)
Only problem is the opposition will only get 60.

We will need to score well into the 100s each game then, just to lift the leagues average.:)
