Carlton has been slapped with a $10,000 fine for failing to update the AFL on players post-season whereabouts.
The AFL announced on Thursday four clubs had been sanctioned for breaching its anti-doping rules on providing ‘player whereabouts information’.
The Blues copped the heaviest penalty, while Melbourne ($5000), Western Bulldogs ($2500) and Richmond ($2500) were also penalised.
The league said clubs were required to provide constant updates on player off-season movements.
Under AFL rules, clubs can be sanctioned for failing to provide the up-to-date whereabouts of players listed for testing.
