A lot of stories coming out that are very sad and very scary to be honest.
I hope they aren’t true but it’s pretty Damming if so .
Given chance after chance but looks like he is more off the rails than Ben Cousins ever was.
Collingwood have bought into something they can’t fix , credit to the club for trying to help someone with many issues but sadly they couldn’t even help.

That'd have to be pretty off the rails...…….relative to footballers anyway.

Dunno about that mate. I've heard some stories about Beames but they don't go close to Cousins at his peak (excuse the pun)
Cousins was running from booze buses, getting locked up and sticking drugs up his jacksie-that's pretty full on behavior.

I haven’t heard the ones you have heard about Cousins then , basically running from the police and drugs was about it.
Maybe one about his ex and kids but I might be mixing it up with someone else.

Nope the one about the ex and the kids is Cousins. He threatened to bury her in front of them.

I thought this was about his car accident. Did he do a runner?

Herald Sun is now reporting he's played his last game for the pies, and they will look to settle the 3 years left on his contract.

No idea .. but seems there is more to it than just an accident for him to get sacked.

Collingwood gave up 2 first round picks for 9 Dayne Beams games. That would hurt.

Yep, it's going to hurt them. They did well without him but when you lose first round picks or when the players in the first round you pick don't measure up it eventually catches up with you

I reckon that the day is coming that a player nominates a club and that club will say "Sorry but our salary cap is full and we have plenty of your type anyway-stay with your current club or look elsewhere" especially after this Beames balls up.

I would say that would have been discussed by Both clubs and the player/ manager before they nominate.
Once it’s decided it is a possibility by all parties then the player makes it public.
If the new club and old club can’t see it happening he doesn’t nominate that club in public.
Of course other trades might fall through stopping it depending on how it’s done but 99% of the time they are already in a deal and just need to fix the fine print.

He hit a tree, wasn't a big accident but the guy is finished.

A few texts floating around about bikies rocking up to training to collect. BF running with him getting caught stealing credit cards to pay off bookies.

He's not the first guy to lose his entire career earnings to gambling.

I know someone who stopped to assist him. Air bags engaged and despite attempts to get him talking he was out of it until just before the ambulance arrived.

He's got some challenges ahead of him

The strange thing with those rumors is he just donated his premiership medal to raise money for the bushfires. Weird thing to do if you are short of cash.

Yep. The desire to please everyone can *!*!*!*! you up pretty bad. Mostly everyone has competing interests and they will burn you when you are in the way.
