With these dates was there any mention about list sizes?
One would think if they have settled on a list lodgment date then list sizes decision has been made.
May be no change for next year.

The AFL has announced key post season dates, with the 2020 player movement period to begin six days after the Grand Final, and the National Draft scheduled for early December.

The post-season frenzy will kick off on October 30 with the Free Agency period, which finishes on November 6.

The AFL Trade Period starts on November 4 and runs for nine days, concluding on November 12.

The NAB AFL National and Rookie Drafts will be held in the week commencing December 7, with full details yet to be confirmed.

The AFL also announced that pre-season training for the 2021 season can commence no earlier than November 30 this year, with a decision on an exact resumption date to be announced later.

The League confirmed a change in the operation of the Next Generation Academy (NGA) program in 2021, which will be implemented by its Talent Pathway Team, with support from AFL Clubs.

There will be no change to the eligibility or concessions available to AFL Clubs for NGA approved players at the 2020 NAB AFL Draft.

Clubs will also have a choice regarding their involvement in second tier football next year, with the VFL and NEAFL competitions set to merge.

The Bulldogs will be able to choose to either field a standalone team, align with an existing VFL club or spread their AFL-listed players across multiple VFL clubs.

If they keep up the stalling any longer you'd think clubs will be pushing for no change to the list size.

Ummm - clubs are pushing for the reduced list sizes.

Players are $ in more than just wages...equipment, coaches, doctors, massage etc etc.

I think it is going to be 38.

Surely the AFL have to announce list sizes before trading starts?

I suppose clubs have contingency plans on different numbers....

...Still no word on list sizes...

It’s getting beyond a joke, but surely it’s gotta be announced before trades.
