He wasn't great in the first half but that made the second half more special

Craps all over any game Archer played. He couldn't do what Johnno does. He is the special one.

I might have left L3 but I was sitting in L1 right down the front when the game finished.
Lucy ran down the aisle to the fence, I followed and when no-one said anything we both sat down.;)

Yep, terrific individual performance by Johnno in the second half. He hasn't lost a thing and looks set for a good year.

Can't recall a guy playing his 300th who could still impose himself on the game and determine its outcome like Johnno did today

Spot on. I'm sure there is plenty of great club results to honor the players reaching the milestone but few if any clubs would have ever been picked up and carried to the win by the spotlight player like today.

His set shot goal in the 4th quarter was as clutch as it gets

186 super coach points, double that as captain.

Thankyou very much Johnno.

Johnno's still a few months shy of his 31st birthday and is still one of the best of the best. I'd say 400 games are not out of the question. He is 6 years younger than Rob Harvey - another 6 years and he might even give Tucky a shake.

I remember a couple of years ago when Nathan Buckley kicked a bag of 6 against Brisbane one night, and the media adulation was such that it felt like the second coming of Christ. Johnno does this for fun most weeks. Buckley as a semi-permanent forward kicked 30-odd that season - Johnno has kicked over 60 in the same role for 3-4 years in a row. Still underrated after all these years.

Right you are. Subtract 20 games and I think he will still give 400 a shake. Tucky looks safe for now.

Brad Johnson you are a gun.
If he played for Collingwood or Essendon he would be talked up in the Buckley and Hird class.
He is every bit as good as them IMHO.

I've got Cooney as my Captain as I'm tipping he's in for a huge season. Had Johnno last year and stupidly, thought I'd change this year. Nevermind! Johnno is a champion and that's more important to me than Supercoach. Fantastic result for Johnno's 300th.

My dad (A geelong man) had absolutely no idea just how good Johnno was until he started taking me to matches. He knew he was a good player, but didn't realize he was a champ

I have Johnno as supercoach captain and Black for dreamteam captain, I thought it would be better to have a midfielder captain for DT because goals aren't worth as much, but I can see it changing... For the record I think it's the best 300th ever, except that Grant's was Dale's debut match and..yeah.
