Back to normal with everyone playing this week.

It would be great if:

Brisbane could kill off Richmond.
Sydney could kill off Geelong.
We could (obviously) kill off Freo.
Port could knock the bombers back a couple of pegs.
Hawthorn beat Carlton (though that is genuinely like a war on the dark side of the moon as far as I'm concerned).
Melbourne could kill off the Giants.

It all depends on us winning I know but it would be great if this 2-game gap between 5th and 14th could start to open up...with us on the RIGHT side of the split.

So true Bulldog Joe. It is all on the proviso we win.

Swans v Cats should be fingerlicking good.
I have Cats winning big but not making 8 yet Swans finish 8th, us above Saints in 5th with a home final.
That was before Liam's arm was broken...

I've got no idea who to top BIDS.... Hmm. Toss a coin.

Swans form wasn't great prior to playing the worst team in living memory.

Swans did their best Bulldog impersonation tonight. Horrific goal kicking and messing up perfect opportunities.

Draw definitely a good result for us.

I can comfortably say that Naughton is a better kick at goal than Heeney, 0.2 from 5 shots at goal.

But, but, but he kicked five goals in a 171 point win against the worst team in recent history?

Campbell Brown, what a dumb question… did you think you’d make the distance. Nah dickhead I just chose to waste 17 seconds and let the final siren sound

Great call and would make an excellent discussion, although I still reckon Jack Newnes has it covered for degree of difficulty.

I think Port have at least three players who could have kicked that goal, in Houston, McKenzie and Farrell. They have some brilliant long kicks.

I was really happy when I got home after our hard fought but impressive win but after watching Port beat Essendon after the siren it was the cherry on top of what was a very good day.

I haven't reached out to some Essendon friends but they'd have to be hurting in a big way.

When the siren went and Essendon supporters were cheering like they won a premiership the camera captured Hinkley smiling to himself. He knew who had the ball.

We are pretty fortunate with other match results in last month. Let’s hope the boys can grab their chances in last part of season.

4th every day and twice on Sunday.

Even if you lose, you get the same result as if you win from the bottom half of the eight plus the bonus of hosting a home game.

It’s interesting what way our club looks at needs and how far ahead . If we wanted a speedy player ASAP or do we want a bloke who will take time as a solid back ?
We all know that ball getters are a dime a dozen but tall players with skill are harder to find . I think it’s easier to get a mid out of another team than a tall in a trade .
