The worst thing was................. WE HAD THEM.
They were starting to crack. They were starting to panic.
We controlled large parts of the game, but missing those goals sank us.
I know that's an obvioUs thing to say but FAAAAAARRRKKKK!!!!!!!!
I don't know what to feel today. Proud or Pissed off.
You couldn't have asked more from the defenders. Lake was superb.
The pressure and tackling was top rate all night.

I know they won the clearances, but how many of them were soft frees at the centre bounces?
Next year we will win the flag. Westy will play and we'll have our fairy tale.

We did have 'em for quite a while.

But here's the beauty part DD: We can get a shitload better. Realistically, how much further can Geelong climb? Not much.

Next year is now or never stuff. No retreats. No excuses. Anything short of the premiership won't be good enough.

The TV is on and the "History is Coming" ad just came on with Cooney - and it really hurt me realising that we are out of it and another team will make history this year:( It didn't help having us finish on 54 - somewhere there is a god with a warped sense of humour:mad:
