Boydy has been named in the 25 man international rules squad. Surprising, but some well deserved recognition :)

Team looks pretty good though

Of course he chose his pretty boys in "Daisy" & "Pendles"

Apparently only Boyd was available to play from the Doggies. All others that were considered were doing other things.

Not a fan of the series as it is anyhow, but particularly when our players are at risk.

Griffen along with alot of players simply cannot be available for various reasons, as suggested with Morris getting married, there are so many players having operations, getting married etc etc.

Why wouldn't he select Thomas & Pendles? apparently they were both good at the Irish game in the under 18's, i actually think its good that he chose a few of his young guns, and not put them away in cotton wool like many players, Gibbs, Deledio etc were asked, but got a straight out no from their coaches!!!

This series goes in the who cares basket.

Good recognition for Boyd, but it's more of a case of who doesn't want to play (for various reasons) than who does.

Happy to see Boydy in the team, but I wish a couple more could have made it, such as Griffen.

Matty Lappin (one of the assistants) mentioned quite a few names who were asked but declared themselves unavailable. He specifically mentioned O'keefe and J. McVeigh.

Tell Boydy to pull out.
He is to important to risk in a series that means Jack.
At least if it was State of origin it would mean something.
