Any news on the outcome of the match review from the weekend. Are Aka and Picken cleared or not?

Aker suspended for tripping

1 game I take it? Might be a timely suspension - yes he's in good form, but we need to keep his body right for the whole year.

He had carry over points, so yes one game.

It was one where he would normally have received a reprimand with some carry over points. Because he copped a reprimand & received carry over points v North Melbourne it puts him over the 100 point threshold, even with an early guilty plea.

Yeah I knew he was gone because of that "hit" he did against North.

Aker gets a week, yet the stupid umpire pays a free in another situation, to one of our blokes, for "tripping him"....morons...

Two piss week wrongs don't make a (week suspension) right.

The other one you refer to, Schofield from the Eagles copped the same as Aker at the MRP, but because he doesn't have carry over points, he can accept a reprimand.

So Aker won't get to say goodbye to Carlton, unless we play them in the finals.

More importantly Aker's 300th game is no longer against Melbourne, instead it will be against Geelong (barring injury/suspension)

It was a weird one by Aker wasn't it? Twice in three weeks -- . I don't remember him ever sticking a foot out reflexively as a guy ran past him before, but twice already this year. Silly things like this creep into your game as you lose a yard of pace, I suppose.
