Just noticed this on the FAQ (http://www.westernbulldogs.com.au/FAQs/tabid/14508/default.aspx) section of the club's website:

If you are unable to attend our two home games at Marrara (Darwin) or Manuka (Canberra), your membership card will entitle you to enter two 'away' games in Victoria which have been selected as 'Replacement Games'. The two games scheduled as 'replacement games' for 2010 are:

Rd 9: North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs on Saturday 22nd May at Etihad Stadium at 2.10pm.

Rd 14: Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs on Friday 2nd July at the MCG at 7.40pm.

At these two games, your Western Bulldogs membership card can be used to gain general admission access only (subject to capacity). (Note: reserved seat holders will not have access to a reserved seat area for these games as they are ‘away’ games).

Note: Western Bulldogs members can use their membership cards to access our Darwin and Canberra home games as normal.

Cheers for this TCD.

Every year it usually is the North Melbourne game, but more recently being played at the MCG. I hadn't looked as far as other fixtures, should be a ripping game on the Friday night against the Hawks.

Let's try to get as much support at the game as possible next week and drown out the bandwagoning Hawthorn supporters who are up and about having smashed the bottom couple of teams.

For those that normally sit on Level 2 of the Ponsford Stand for our replacement games, this area is not available for general admission for this game. It is a reserved seat only area.

Thanks A39, are you talking about the area behind the goals (about where Griff snapped the winning goal from)?

Yep, normally only aisles 33 to 36 are reserved, but for this game aisles 29 to 36 are all reserved seating.

The MCG website says that details of the general admission seating areas for this match will be confirmed in the week leading up to the event.

Wish i had read this, I am in Melbourne next week for work and have allready bought and paid for a members ticket ($30) for the Friday night game at the G.

I don't think i've ever used my members pass to get access to a WBU game in my life!

Aah well, lets hope we win...

(am going with a few work colleagues also from interestate keen to see a game at the G, they are Lions + Gabba members; i am a member of the SACA which has reciprocal rights)

No Problem :)

I can imagine it will get very packed though with all Dogs members getting in for free. Also add in Hawks GA members and the public and we may have to get there early to get a seat.

Usually they open both ends of Level 1 for GA but I have noticed they dont do that with Hawthorn games. Looks stupid with one end having thousands of free seats and the other being crammed with supporters of both clubs..

I'm surprised they are only predicting 40,000 to attend.

With the Hawks coming off 6 wins in a row and it being a replacement game for dogs members, I'd be expecting 50,000.
