I am suprised it's even available. I heard it got pretty messed up from the storms and would take months to fix.

That's my understanding as well.

In the article it says that there is damage, but the room is still available.

I still find it ridiculous, that if it's a sell out you can't use your GA membership.

You can...you just have to be in early. GA at any ground is always subject to capacity, I understand where frustrations come from though.

Can you only buy GA tickets on the day?

I think this is where i am getting confused.

There will probably b the odd single reserved seats, maybe 2 if u r lucky. But a membership u have to get in early to get a seat on level 3 or standing Room if it's at capacity

Anyone know what time they open the gates? I'm wanting to grab a bite in the Victory Room, and also wanting to catch up with a couple of work mates (one of whom is a Pies fan, so we may not be talking at half time!)

EDIT: cancel that, I just looked at the ES website, gates open at 12.

Just out of curiosity, do they still have curtain raisers before games?
As Andrew has just stated gates open at 12 so I take it, there are no games before the main match.

I think thats a shame if so, I suppose this would have happened when the reserves went.

It's been 25 years since I've seen a match in Melbourne. Enjoyed watching the up and comers.

Nope, just the main game now... Auskick kids at half time.
