I imagine the rumour file is about as reliable as Caro, but FWIW, this was mentioned this morning.

Make of it what you will.

It would take 8 armed guards to clean Johnno's locker out midseason methinks.

How reliable are the souces?

Did they stipulate effective immediately?

It's ineviatable that it will happen, more than likely this year.
They are hardly being Nostradamus by saying that he will retire....at some stage.

If Johnno is going to retire before the season end then i would presume it would be towards the end of regular season. He would be forced to make a call then if he can play any part in the finals, so his decision will be to retire.

I think he will play soon.

Well according to SEN reporter at the ground yesterday, Johnno was running around like a two year old looking good.

I hope he wasn't actually running around like a two year old. That wouldn't be good.

Was thinking the same thing. Maybe to be deescribed as running like a hyper 7 year old would be what we're hoping to hear.

No, I disagree. I can catch my 7 year old. But when he was 2, forget it…

The rumour has started on BF.

It isn't true and Johnno is travelling well and on track with his recovery.

That second part is fantastic to hear, I was starting to get a tad worried with the legs this rumor has grown

For Johnno to retire before the seasons finished, he would have to not be able to walk.

In saying that though another Scott West situation wouldn't be a good thing for the team or an appropriate way to end a fine career.
