Not sure if it's worth a thread but just heard from Mark Stevens on Triple M that Brown is out tomorrow. Expect Cornelius to come in.

This helps us big time with now the potential of Lake moving forward. Would you like to see that move with no Brown?

Also Johnno had 21 touches in 67 minutes and will return next week...:)

Great news for us, I do hope that he gets back to his best though. Never seems to get a decent run at things, always picks up an injury when he gets into his best form.

The calls for Lake to go forward will certainly get louder.

Ouch that hurt my supercoach.
Yes good point on Lake, if we dont win and Lake doesnt go forward it will put the questions up.

I like Browny, but at the same time, I'm glad he won't be playing (for our sake!)... could see Lake go forward, but I still think only at times.

Id say start him up forward and see how Morris goes with Fev..if hes causing trouble will need to drop him back.

Honestly I would rather him in. I guess there are no excuses now.

This is the best news I've heard for a while. Would have liked Brown in as we need good hit outs and confidence we can beat full strength sides.

I'd prefer the 4 points

Is this 100%. Good news for 2 reasons. Should be 'easier' game to win and playing top team in my works SC league and he has JB

The way it was said makes me 99% sure that it was true. Not really questioned by the others and it was already known that he was facing an uphill battle to be ready.

But if he lines up, dont come after me :D

I'd back Williams to go with Cornelius. From memory he was touted as one to watch before the draft and slipped on draft day?

I think this is one game you don't play Lake forward. With Brian floating around the back line he could set up numerous attacks and deny the Brisbane forwards.
Brisbane's defense has been weakened and you would hope that our current forward setup should suffice.
With Brian forward he may dominate and have a good game but against a depleted defense does it prove anything.

Move him if we get into trouble as another option, but we shouldn't need him there.

Not sure Lake perform first up when forward.
Let him get into the game a little , get his mind right then in the second quarter bring him forward.
