Just another day at the office for the Cats
Pods might be in for a few weeks on the sidelines!
Josh Hunt incident also might be scrutinized looked like a slam tackle,I think Sydney might look at this verdict with interest!Gotta think if we play the navy collusion might be a game of touch footy with no tackling.

Another observation tonight was The Cats kicking more than they have been!

You would think Pods would get at least 2 weeks for that bump.

Gazza staying closer to goals last night looked dangerous.

Pods is lucky. Before the MRP points system came in he would have been looking at a 6 week suspension for a bump like that. That is what both Ben Johnson and Byron Pickett got for very similar incidents, and it was a similar bump to the crown of his head that ended the career of Neil Sachse.

Pods' 60 point carry over from earlier this year might hurt.

Yep, so he won't get a reduction, if he gets 3 [my prediction], 3 it will be.

If he does get 3 matches, that might be round 22, Qualifying Final & (if they win that), a Preliminary Final. Be tough to get back in from there.

Another change for Freo. Haselby out - they may as well be wearing Peel Thunder jumpers.

Is Fitzroys record score in any danger?

Hawks 87 - Freo 11 | 5 min 3 Q

Looks like no matter what happens between now and the finals, we will finish 4th and most likely play the Pies in the first week.

At the start of the season we would have taken a top four position with the game to be played in Victoria every single time.

We now need to put all our energy and focus on getting right for that first week of the finals. The results are not important now. What is important is;

- Get everyone 100% fit
- No more injuries
- Rid ourselves of the Flu
- Get some confidence
- Everyone to be in good form
- Ensure we know who our best 22 are to match up against the Pies
- Peak for September
- Work out how to beat the Pies

Seriously believe Williamstown would have brought more to the table than Freo's WAFL team!

If i was North Melbourne, i would be very upset.

Richmond only 12 points down with a 1 minute to go to 3/4 time, with Jack Riewoldt kicking 6 goals so far.

Freo have just kicked 2 in 3 minutes to make their score respectable:rolleyes:

I almost hope they lose next week and end up having to travel. Well except they are playing Carlton who deserve nothing but pain.

Saying that that's the peril you face when you rely on other teams. North melb weren't good enough! I thought Freo did the right thing but coping a hiding like that isn't going to help the groups confidence!!

Jack has kicked 7 goals today and leads the Coleman by 8 goals.

Can Barry Hall catch up to win with two games remaining?

What are others thought on this?

Barry won't get enough of the ball to win the Coleman, the midfield is being torn a new one at the moment and will need to lift in the second half.

Magpies will find a way to win against Adelaide, while we never have the mental toughness to get over the line.

Did anyone see the Collingwood game? Sounds like Adelaide might have unlocked the key .
Sounds like with the amount of points they kept Collingwood wide!

Interesting that they had Will Young tag O'Brien and do a really good job. Harry got 5 possies. Wonder if we will learn from that :)

Nope, we'll let him run around completely unaccountable as to make him look like an arrogant douche' which generally always seems to be the plan.
