THE injury-riddled Western Bulldogs face an anxious wait for the match review panel to assess a reckless moment by gun forward Barry Hall.

Hall, who was reported for abusive language to an umpire in the second quarter, reacted with a rare impetuous act this season when he attempted to stir up a lethargic Bulldog side late in the second term of last night's first qualifying final against Collingwood at the MCG.

Just saw 'Superstar' Harry O on the news taking the piss out of Barry. Would he be so brave if he was not protected by 50 odd cameras and the men in white. Would he get in Barry's face in a darkened carpark out in Brooklyn. I think not.

Does he need to?

Barry should have cannoned into him in a marking contest but he didn't.

Of course he doesn't have to! I am just pointing out that he is gutless and hides behind the fact that Barry is limited in how he can retaliate.

How could Barry cannon into him when Obrien did not have the guts to stand in front of him or even go near him for the rest of the night.

Saw that too... yep, he's really tough laughing it up in front of the cameras... had a dig and couldn't even get that right. If Baz hadn't have exercised restraint, they'd still be picking pieces of Harry off the turf now.

If anything comes of that tap, well, the AFL is a bigger joke than I thought.

I was hoping that Timmy Callan had of taken one for the team and really hurt that O'brian clown.

Should have got Hahn or Johnno to give him a whack.

Agree with this. There was one (that I can remember) clear chance for Hall to just lift the knee and legally give the Pies defence a big hit (not sure if it was Harry or Maxwell) but he essentially moved his body out of the way and reached out with his hands.

Would've loved to have seen him run straight though a couple of those psuedo tough guys running around in the Pies back 6.

I see that hyphen hasbeen Humpfrey Smith as put his 2 cents in!
Nothing in it Hall made minimal contact,if he hit him harder in the chest throat region the U.N ambassador would have been in a world of hurt.
I'm tipping if it was more forceful 10 would have played it 5000 times:rolleyes:

What is with the anti-Bulldog agenda by the media in general and SEN and the Herald Sun in particular? I haven't read anything about the full blown fight between Luke Hodge and Adam McPhee, or Cameron Mooney's post game abuse of the umpires on Friday night.

Scariest thing to happen to Harry since he had a gun to his head.

No action taken by the MRP... contact deemed insufficient... well, duh!
