The Footy show have just gone over Crossy' bump on Bolton. Could be in trouble, bump was high and also ran past the ball. Hopefully they take into account the fact that Kieran Jack push gave him greater momentum and made it look worse then what was intended.

With the lottery that is the MRP who knows what could happen. I'm of the opinion he was actually trying to get low and get the ball. Would like to know others thoughts.

Nervous times. Got him accross the shoulder and Bolton did come back on, but I honestly think our luck with the MRP will run out with this one

If it's the one I am thinking of he has nothing to worry about. It was caused more by Bolton's teammate.

Daniel better be free to play or he will be devastated, disagree with the TFS panel, thought Crossy's main objective was to go at the ball, it was just a case of two players colliding.

This will be thrown out straight away surely? He didn't make contact with the head, he was clearly going for the ball but overran it, and on top of that Kieran Jack nudged Bolton into the oncoming traffic and therefore it can't be supposed that Cross made a beeline for him.

Could someone pls tell me why Ottens was not suspened when he ran straight at Griffen,
collected him flush on the jaw to make way for his M/F's.

Contesting the ball, didn't have the option to tackle, Bolton's teammate contributed to contact.

Its easy in slow motion to say he ran past the ball. At full speed its a legitimate attempt to win the ball.

agree - I turned off the tv once I realised who the panel of experts were, a journo, Nathan Brown (need I say more) and the north melbourne cheers squad (Thompson, Brayshaw and Harvey).. Looked like they were feasting on some serious sour grapes with the Bulldogs winning last night..

Certainly was, Lake mentioned it this morning on TFS, said it really lifted the team. Hopefully the MRP take that view and let it slide.

I watched the replay yesterday. How the hell is he supposed to pull up at full speed? It's all very well to slow it down and look at it, but it didn't happen in slow motion. If he's suspended or even cited it is a joke. :mad:

At half time on Saturday night I was thinking what a horror run we'd had - with nothing going our way - and the first kick of the second half, the ball lands on its point - bounces over a swans players head straight to Murphy - and it was the sign of things to come!
Bradshaw missing sitters, Crossy getting off...its starting to happen.
