THE WESTERN Bulldogs are confident defender Dale Morris will be fit for Saturday night's preliminary final against St Kilda on Saturday night after he received the all clear to continue training from a back specialist on Tuesday night..

Morris has completed a remarkable recovery from a fractured vertabrae in his back, which he suffered against the Sydney Swans in round 21.

Bulldogs football manager James Fantasia said the specialist's advice leaves Morris a strong chance to play in Saturday night's preliminary final against St Kilda.

Finally the news from the kennel is good for a change. All we need to get back now is our good form, he got injured in the second quarter against the cats. He showed a little bit against the swannies so lets hope he is raring to go against those saints.

Playing with a broken leg was pretty tough but you're just showing off now, Dale.

A broken back? Come on!

Sorry Gia and Boydy etc - this bloke should be the next leader.

Good news. If anyone was going to overcome a serious injury and do all the right recovery procedures to have a chance of playing again before season's end it would be Morris. Good on him.
