and I'm about 3 & 1/2 minutes away.. hopefully it's not going to be as hot (weather wise) as it was last year..

Im 20 minutes away, used to live around the corner also. Was quite fun last year.

I'm about 1 hour away but there is no way I'd miss this cricket match. My two favourite teams playing each other. Go Dogs, Go Storm, Go Dogs, Go Storm........ :D

Got a good friends wedding reception on Sunday...Was hoping the cricket match would be earlier. (The wedding is in Crown Palladium :D )

Due to extreme heat predicted on Sunday (40C), the medical staff of both the Storm & Bulldogs have concerns about their players being out in such heat.

Accordingly, the game has been called off!

They certainly did, my head got burnt quite badly while watching. Gonna have to make my own hat that is mohawk-friendly to stay sunsafe this summer. Been burnt again at East meets West. Hating it, peeling head looks like world's worst case of dandruff. :o

Sensible decision. Last years heat was very uncomfortable for players & spectators alike. Shame I have to wait until the family day in March to see my Storm boys now..... ;)
