Hey I agree with you.

Why or how Stack didn't play ahead of Dylan today is something I don't get.

Yeah he looked in a bit of pain, someone had to make way for Huddo so chances are that it would have been him anyway. He's a worry though. So many injuries.

Power to him for playing out the game with that injury

As bitter as I am feeling about Ward, it would be pure cutting your nose to spite your face stuff if we drop him unless we are 100% out and out sure he is gone to the GWS. It's not about Ward, it's how the club looks to the players.

IN: Hudson, Wood/Wallis/Howard/Stack

Seems like Lukey Dahl is a bit sore. I guess he has 6 months or so to get over it but perhaps he will rest/sub him.

Agree, however, I'd add Ward & Barlow to the Outs.

So you're 100% sure Ward is gone? Don't get me wrong, I am 99.99% sure but what if Ward, even if he is deludling himself, isn't completely sure and this, once againeven if only in his own head, seals the deal? He could even conveniently blame us somewhat for it, whether it be intentional or not.

He hasn't even played for the Williamstown seniors

That's true but it's the last game against a side that isn't travelling well, so I thought let's see what the kid can do. He's been in good kicking form in the developement side. 18 goals in the last 4 games.

I haven't watched him play in Willi's reserves so don't know if he could even compete, I guess hotdog's point is he's not going to get a chance to play for Willi seniors this year given finals start this week.

In: Wallis, Wood and Hudson

If Wood isnt 100% I would play Howard

Addison and Hill arent going to be at the club next season, dont see the point of keeping them in the side

Good opportunity to get another game into Wallis and prepare him for a massive preseason

It still makes no sense to me, let him develop in the ressies. Get a pre season into him and get him right for a NAB cup/challenge series game. He's had a shocking run with injuries in the last 4 years and chances are he has no where near the fitness levels required for AFL footy. No need to rush him.

I understand what your saying and if it was the middle of the year definitely the way to go. But what's the harm of giving him half a game or a quarter as a sub in a game that will have no bearing on our season.

He gets a sample of what's likely to be required at that level before going into a pre-season, we will be without a dedicated full forward next year which gives him incentive to train for, also it could give him confidence that the club hasn't forgotten about him.

What's the word on T. Hill?

The bird is the word. ;)

He is a tall forward in the Kurt Tippett mold, had a foot injury for most of the season and has played about the last 4 games in the Willi reserves, kicked 8 on the weekend when they won by over 40 goals.

Seeing as though he can't get a game in the Willi seniors I would think he is still a mile off playing for the Dogs.

BulldogBelle

Ward should be out if he confirms that he is leaving - supporters would find it unpalatable if he played

He should free up a spot for someone like Wallis to get a game
