Serious allegations against Elijah Taylor
Re: Serious allegations against Elijah Taylor
Damn. This is shocking to hear. Believe accusers everyone.
Re: Serious allegations against Elijah Taylor
Not good. We know AFL footy can be forgiving to domestic abusers but this should be career over if he’s found guilty.
Re: Serious allegations against Elijah Taylor
I look forward to Wayne Carey's hot take on this.

Yep, agree totally. Is he still on suspension from the Covid breach?

Welcome to the AFL, where the only standards are double standards.

Yeah, for the remainder of the season.

They’ll cross live to the set of the Full Monty.

That's right and apparently it's the same girl involved

I will wait for both sides of the story before judging.
Re: Serious allegations against Elijah Taylor
Clearly, if this is proven true it is unacceptable.
However, there must be some merit in delving into the circumstances and seeing if Taylor can be helped back to the right path in life.
Suggesting that he is finished is not helpful for anyone.
If we don't embrace a system that allows for atonement and rehabilitation we are effectively sending people to a scrapheap that will have their life spiral to a form of oblivion.

Should he be helped to be a better person and live a normal life, yes.
If true should he be granted the many benefits that come with being an AFL player? No. I believe that is what people mean when they say he's finished

If true it's hard to imagine he plays again. Footy is a short career and he at this stage is a nobody.

Yeah I’m the same as well BAD but if true it is not good.
