I know what you meant Chef. The premiership players will be in our minds forever, even if they have left. Nothing will take that away from them, and they will be back for many reunions for the rest of their lives.

Shane Ellen - AFEL immortal!

See above. Aaron Keating makes him look like Wayne Carey!
6 career matches, 1 premiership, 0 possessions in the GF. Adelaide immortal!

I certainly thank all of the players who got GF medals and I won't speak badly of them but they're not all immortal/legends in my humble opinion just because they won a medal.
I do get your point though.
In 62 years that whole premiership team will be considered Bullgods, Immortals whatever you want to call them and the Bob Murphy's, Brad Johnson's of this world will be former captains and good players. Such is the nature of the business = winning premierships.

Yep. Premierships and the winning of them are what it's all about. Special players take their opportunities when they present themselves.
I'm not downplaying Bob Murphy's or Brad Johnson's achievements on the field (I love them both) but the fact is they never got to mount the premiership dais and that's the whole reason we play the game.

FWIW, I'm okay with Premiership hero but immortal and legend are at another level in my opinion. Bullgod is close.
